This year we have catered for all partners attending the AWCI ANZ 74th Annual Conference, with a program packed full of interesting, exciting activities. Please keep in mind that if you or your partner wish to attend any of the events below, you are more than welcome to bring children along as well.
Monday 7 October
Sunrise Breakfast Tour (5.00am to 8.00am)
The unmissable breakfast tour Includes time at the Uluru Sunrise Viewing platform, walking to the base of Uluru, enjoying the Mala Walk and Mutitjulu Water Hole. Breakfast is included in a box on the go – Ham and cheese croissant, apple, muesli bar, banana bread, cheese and crackers, tub of muesli, long life milk, juice, water and tea and coffee.
Morning Tea with Delegates (9.30am to 10.00am)

Pam Zakostelsky is an expert naturopath, wellness coach and founder of Miss Vitality. Sound Of Silence: Dinner Under The Stars (6.00pm to 10.00pm)
Your Sounds of Silence experience, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, begins with canapes and chilled sparkling wine served on a viewing platform overlooking the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. As the sun sets and darkness falls, listen to the sound of a didgeridoo and join your table of fellow travelers for an unforgettable dining experience.

Wellness Session (8.30am to 10.15am)
Facilitated by Pam Zakostelsky, this session will focus on simple strategies to improve your overall health and wellness. Pam is an expert naturopath, wellness coach and founder of Miss Vitality.
Morning Tea with Delegates (10.15am to 10.45am)
Dot Painting (11.00am to 12.30pm)
Maruku Arts Dot Painting Workshop provides a fun introduction to local Indigenous Art. Anangu paintings are created for educational and ceremonial purposes as well as the telling of events that have occurred. Join local Indigenous artists and learn about the different symbols depicting Creation Time (Tjukurpa) stories. Then under the expert guidance of Maruku Arts and the local Indigenous artist, have a go at creating your own dot painting artwork to take home as a memento of your experience.

Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner (6.30pm to late)
The Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner will commence at 6.30pm for pre-dinner drinks followed by an evening of fine dining, drinking, industry awards and entertainment. The AWCI ANZ Trans-Tasman Awards of Excellence recognises and raises the profile of leaders in the wall and ceiling industry. Project winners from State and New Zealand local awards programs are nominated into the Trans-Tasman Awards and presented at the Gala Dinner and the Apprentice of the Year will be announced.
Wednesday 9 October
Survival Workshop with Mike House or Free Time (10.00am to 12.30am)
Imagine you are stranded in the Australian Outback after a helicopter crash. You will need to ensure your group survives for four days until rescued. What would you do? What would it be like to face this for real? Mike will recreate an advanced desert survival scenario in the room using footage, photos and stories from actual survival courses. This is as close as you can get without getting hot, dirty, and dehydrated!
