Cancellation Policy
The AWCI Cancellation Policy is as follows:
  • If the registration is cancelled before 28 July 2019, a full refund will be issued.
  • If the registration is cancelled between 28 July 2019 and 28 September 2019, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded, less all processing, administration and handling fees.
  • If the registration is cancelled after 28 September 2019, no refund will be issued.
All cancellations must be notified in writing to adminwa@awci.org.au.

Security Policy
 AWCI uses the Paypal Payflow Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. Paypal Payflow processes online credit card transactions for thousands of merchants all across the globe, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using Paypal Payflow are secured payments. 
 
All scheduled payment information is stored in a customer profile hosted on PayPal's secure systems. With emerging compliance standards from different card brands, using PayPal ensures that we securely store and manage sensitive payment information, with data security compliance standards always up-to-date, including
  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by AWCI or any outside party.
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • Paypal Payflow is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
  • Paypal Payflow at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by AWCI.

As part of your membership service or upon registering for the conference, AWCI may use your personal information to:

  • Promote your business through various media such as websites, member directories and the like.
  • Offer you products and services relevant to your business from both MPA and other commercial providers.

Warranties
To the extent of our legal obligations, AWCI excludes all conditions, warranties, guarantees and similar, whether express or implied, as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any goods or services supplied by us, other than those implied by statute which may not be legally excluded. Liabilities we have to you under Warranties, that are implied by statute and cannot be excluded are subject to limitations.
 
Limitation of Liability
In no event, to the limits of our legal obligation, will AWCI accept responsibility to any party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages of any type whatsoever related to or arising from the supply of goods or services via this website or the use of such goods or services by any person, including, without limitation, any lost profits or savings, damage to or loss of property or personal injury (including death), even if we are expressly advised of the possibility of such damages. This waiver of liability applies to all causes of action, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theories. In the event of the above exclusion of liability not being enforceable, or deemed invalid or ineffective it will be removed from the above terms and in its place a maximum aggregate liability for damages, losses and other amounts referred to in the above exclusion of liability under any cause of action referred to in the above exclusion of liability is limited to A$5.00.
 
Indemnity
In engaging with our services, you agree to indemnify, hold and defend our directors, employees, officers, contractors licensors and suppliers harmless from and against all proceedings, expenses, losses, damages and costs (whether special, actual, direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary or incidental) of any nature made by any other party arising or due to the violation of any of these Terms, any terms and policies it incorporates by reference, the rights of another party, any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation or due to or arising out of any activity related to goods and services supplied by us.
 
Applicable Law
Our Terms and Conditions are governed and written in reference to the law of Queensland, Australia. The parties engaged in our services all submit the to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and its appellate courts.
 
Agreement
The Terms and Conditions (including any terms or policies incorporated by reference) form the entirety of the agreement between you and AWCI regarding the matter. This agreement replaces and supersedes all and all prior communications.
 
Availability of Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are available upon request. They are reviewed from time to time and any amendments will be included in the updated Terms and Conditions.
 
Acceptance and Changes to Terms and Conditions
You acknowledge and accept that your use of the AWCI website indicates your acceptance of the AWCI Terms and Conditions. These are the current Terms and Conditions. They replace any other Terms and Conditions published on AWCI to date. We may, at any time, make amendments to the Terms and Conditions by publishing new Terms and Conditions on the AWCI website. You accept that by doing this, AWCI has provided you with sufficient notice of the amendments. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions each time you visit the AWCI website.
